8. My favorite singer

Justin Drew Bieber was born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada on March, 1, 1994. Justin began singing several years ago. When he was 2, he showed his interest to music and instruments, especially drums. Today he plays the guitar very well. He is good at sports, too: basketball, football, golf, hockey and skateboarding. By the way, he is left-handed. At school he liked math’s most of all. 2007 was a start for a young singer. He sang and shot hits of well-known singers on a video camera and loaded his clips on YouTube. Soon admirers appeared. They were sure Justin would become a star. Scooter Brown watched his clips and sent Justin to Usher, Atlanta. There Justin met Justin Timberlake and signed a contract with Usher and later record company. Justin is one of the most talented American children. On Christmas he performed for US President Barak Obama and his wife Michel Obama. His dreams are to develop musical abilities, graduate from the college and sing with Beyoncé and Lady Gaga. Besides, he thinks of Hollywood.

9. My Clothes

Clothes are an important part of modern life. It’s hard to imagine how people can live without clothes. There are various styles of clothes nowadays, so people can choose what to wear on different occasions. As for me, I have a good collection of clothes in my wardrobe. There are a couple of school suits which are of classic style. Then I have some jeans and T-shirts for casual days. And at last, I have a couple of bright dresses for parties or special occasions. Most of all I like wearing ordinary jeans with matching shirts. I think it’s not only convenient but also stylish. As for shoes, I prefer wearing sports shoes or sneakers but I need to wear some classic black shoes to school. I don’t like high heels because they are uncomfortable. I always try to keep my clothes and shoes neat. I think that clothes tell a lot about people and can make a strong impression. So if they are tidy and nice the impression will be positive.

The choice of clothes also depends on seasons and weather conditions. In winter, for example, it’s important to have a warm coat and a pair of boots. A jacket and rubber boots would be nice for spring and autumn. However, my favorite time is summer, when everyone can wear light T-shirts and shorts, or Sara fan and sandals.

10. Technology

Technology is all around us. First of all, we need it for work. All modern offices are equipped with computers, scanners, printers, and other useful machines. One of the most important devices today is the Wi-Fi modem as it provides Internet. Secondly, technologies surround us at home, in cars and everywhere. It includes TVs, radios, refrigerators, vacuum-cleaners, washing machines, CD-players, e-books, cameras and else. Perhaps, the most important thing about technological progress is that it allows us to do many things which would be impossible without it. For example, we can communicate with friends from other countries with the help of computers. We can even see them and have a live conversation. In conclusion, I’d like to say, that technological progress continues and it moves rather fast. Thus, I think that soon we will live in ‘smart’ houses with robots doing all housework instead of us.
