плюсы

1. life in a city is full of opportunities. a professional always has a higher chance to find a job. a university entrant is able to choose from a few universities where to study.

2.life in a city is more interesting. there is always something going on in big cities. famous singers often give concerts there. different exhibitions and festivals are held in cities. you can easily find a nice cafe to meet with friends for a cup of coffee.

3.living standards in a city are always higher than living standards in a village. the right doctor can be quickly found, if somebody has any health problems. there are plenty of goods in shops, so you can find everything you need. to get from one end to another is not a problem as there is public transport, underground or taxis.

city is more developed technologically. it is unlikely that in a big city there is no mobile connection at all. the internet is also a commonplace thing which is used on a daily basis.

минусы

1.city ecology leaves much to be desired. there are plants and factories in a city, so harmful emissions are always high. lots of cars in the streets also pollute air.

2.city life is more dangerous than life in a village. a big city may become a centre of different political conflicts. apart from that in the cities there are unsafe neighbourhoods where crime rate is higher.

3. life in a city is more stressful.  the speed of life in a city is a lot higher. everyone seems to be in a rush. this can put certain pressure on a person.

living in a city has its pros and cons. i think that it's more comfortable to live in a city than in a village. you can go to any shop you want and buy everything you need. also you don't have to farm fruit and vegetable, you can just go to the supermarket and buy food. but there are some disadvantages of living in an urban area. the air is very polluted by cars and factories. pollution can affect our health and cause many terrible diseases. also there may be problems with products. although you can buy them in a supermarket, they can be unhealthy and have a lot of pesticides. so i think that living in a city is both good and bad for us.
