Sportsmen are often more famous than sportswomen. Why is this? Is it than? Is this situation changing? How?​

I think that sportsmen are often more famous than sportswomen because the sports which are said to be sports only for men are more popular. It isn't fair becouse there isn't a way for women doing sports to show what they are doing until they have the attention of media. The situation is changing though. Lot's of people want to find out for example about women footballers.
